Diet Bhel Puri

Diet Bhel Puri is my invention caused by the conflicts between my craving for bhel puri and my need for weight loss. Here in Coimbatore, most of the street shops that make bhel puri make a spicy green peas gravy that is used in the bhel puri. I have tweaked it and added sambhar to the bhel puri. It is very tasty. To make it more healthy add more chopped onion, tomato, cucumber and peanuts.

Ingredients:
2 cups of Puffed Rice (Pori)
1 cup sambhar
1/2 cup mixture
3 onions roughly chopped
3 tomatoes roughly chopped

Preparation time: 3 min
Cooking time : NIL
Serves 6

Method:


Roughly chop onions and tomatoes using a Prestige Vegetable Cutter Chopper.
In a deep bowl add chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, puffed rice, mixture, sambhar.
Mix well and transfer to serving bowl.
Enjoy guilt free diet bhel puri.
