Indian Butter Cookies | Nan Khatai a very simple and tasty cookies. Just ready in 15 minutes.
All purpose Flour | Maida- 1 cup
Granulated Sugar- 1/2 cup
Melted Butter- 1/2 cup
Baking Soda- 1/2 tsp
Powder granulated sugar.
Sieve all the powder ingredients twice.
Pre Heat oven to 160°C.
Grease a baking tray and line it with parchment paper.
Now add melted butter and make a dough.
Roll the dough to equal size balls and flatten it a little.
Bake at 160°C for 8 minutes.
Watch closely else the nan khatai will change in color.
Remove and let the cookies cool down.
It will be soft in the centre but will firm up once cooled.
