Capsicum Stir Fry
Usually for Dosa its either Sambhar and Coconut Chutney or Kathrikka Bhaji. Else Chicken Curry or Mutton Curry. Have you tried the combo of dosa with Capsicum Stir fry. You should definitely try this combo as it has the best taste ever. The sourness of tomato and the mild fried onions taste along with crispy and crunchy capsicum pieces is just awesome.
Make this as rolls, dosa stuffed with capsicum stir fry and I bet you cannot stop with just one dosa. Simple and easy recipe and a must try.
Capsicum- 2 big ones
Oil- 5 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
Chilly powder- 1 tbsp
Salt- as per taste
Water- 50 ml
Finely chop capsicum, onion and tomato.
Heat oil in a wok and add capsicum with some salt.
Fry well till capsicum is well crisp and crunchy.
This may take upto 12 minutes on high flame with constant stirring.
Remove the fried capsicum and set aside.
In the same wok add finely chopped onions and fry well till golden brown.
Add ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes.
Add tomato and some salt and fry till tomato is well cooked.
Add 50 ml water and add chilly powder.
Let the gravy boil for 2 minutes.
Add fried capsicum and put off the flame.
Stir and serve immediately with dosa.
