Spicy Chicken Curry
Spicy Chicken Curry is good with both roti and rice varieties. It also goes well with uthapam, appam ,idly. I made the Mutton Biriyani and paired it with Spicy Chicken Curry. I also love the Kashmiri Chicken too.
Chicken - 1 kg
Ginger Garlic Paste- 3 tbsp
Curry Leaves- 1/2 cup
Chilly Powder- 1tbsp
Coriander Powder- 3 tbsp
Garam Masala- 3 tbsp
Salt asper taste
Cinamon- 1 one inch stick
Wash chicken well and set aside.
Heat oil in a clay pot and add the spices. (Cinnamon, clove, cardamom)
Add the ginger garlic paste, onion and fry well till onion turns transluscent.
Add salt, chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala.
Fry well till the raw smell goes.
Add chicken pieces and cover the pot with lid and cook in slow flame for about 20 minutes by stirring occasionally.
After 20 minutes, cook in open flame for about 5 minutes add pepper and put off the flame.
