I was a very bonny girl during college but after my delivery I have gained 20 kg. I was underweight before well now I am over weight. I have to reduce a tough 6 kg for my BMI to show normal. Hence I am skipping rice these days. Hunting for more riceless recipes. This is a serach result of that. Oats Idly....


Ingredients:

Oats- 250 g
Wheat Rava- 150 g
Carrot- 3
Curry Leaves- few
Mustard- 1 tbsp
Oil- 2 tsp
Curd- 200 ml
Water- as required (to thin batter)
Salt as per taste
Baking soda- 1 tsp

Method:

Oats Idly

Just heat oats in a kadai and powder it using a mixer grinder.
Mix oats powder, wheat rawa, carrot curd, soda, salt and water to make a batter.
Heat a kadai with oil, fry mustard, curry leaves and add it to the batter.
Make idlies using an idly pan and serve hot with Horse Gram Chutney.

TIP: Oats charr faster hence just heat up in kadai at simmer flame.
