Green Peas Pulao
I love pulao in general. My favorite is Paneer Capsicum Pulao and this will be next. I would love to pair it with Chilly Chicken or Chilly Gobi. When I made this I also made Chetinad Muttai Kuzhambu (Recipe linked
will be posted tomorrow) which means Chetinad style Egg Curry and Chilly Chicken.
Rice (Jeeragasamba) - 4 cups (1 kg)
Coconut Milk- 4 cups
Water- 4 cups
Ghee- 4 tbsp
Oil- 4 tbsp
Cinnamon- 2 inch piece
Poppy Seeds- 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste- 3 tbsp
Fresh Green Peas- 250 g
Add cinnamon, clove, cardamom, poppy seeds.
Add onions and green chilli. Add salt and fry till onion becomes golden brown.
Add green peas, rice and fry for 3 minutes. This will prevent rice from being sticky.
Add coconut milk, water and pressure cook for 15 min.
