Carrot Beans Stir Fry

Carrot Beans Stir Fry

Very common and easy recipe. A weekly visitor of most of the houses (atleast my house). A quick glance on the simple recipe.



Ingredients:

Carrot- 1
Beans- 10
Onion- 1
Garlic- 2 pods
Mustard- 1 tsp
Curry leaves few
Green chilly- 1 (Optional)
Red Chilly Powder 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil- 1 tbsp

Method:
Carrot Beans Stir Fry
  • Wash clean and finely chop carrot, beans and onion.
  • Slice green chilly and garlic.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a kadai.
  • Add mustard and curry leaves.
  • When it crackles add garlic , green chillies.
  • Fry them for a couple of minutes and add finely chopped onions.
  • Add salt and the cut carrot beans.
  • Simmer the flame and cover the kadai with a lid.
  • Cook for 2 minutes then open the lid and add chilly powder and cook under open flame till vegetables are cooked and crisp.
  • Serve hot with rice and pundu kuzhambu.
