Chicken Roast

Chicken Roast is a very easy healthy dish with little oil. No onions tomatoes the gravy is just a combo of masala powders and the flavor is so good. Wonderful combo with naan, roti's, pulao, stuffed inside dosa or even rasam rice. Lets hop into the yummy recipe.


Ingredients:

Chicken- 1 kg
Chilly powder- 1 tbsp+ 1 tbsp
Coriander powder- 1 tbsp+ 2 tbsp
Garam Masala- 1 tbsp
Cumin Powder- 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 3 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Egg- 1
Curd-1/2 cup
Oil- 3 tbsp
Turmeric- 1/2 tsp
Red chilly- 4

Method:

Chicken Roast
  • In a kadai place 1 tbsp chilly powder. 1 tbsp coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, turmeric, salt egg and ginger garlic paste.
  • Add 1/2 cup curd and mix well to make a smooth paste.
  • Add chicken and mix well.
  • Set aside for minimum 30 minutes.
  • Place this kadai with marinated chicken on the flame straight away and cook till chicken is done.
  • In another pan heat oil and roast chilly powder 1 tbsp and 2 tbsp coriander powder along with red chillies in slow flame.
  • Add this masala oil onto the chicken and cook till chicken is roasted,
  • Transfer to serving bowl and serve hot with jeera pulao.
