Vegetable Pulao

This Sunday was vegetarian Sunday. I made Vegetable Pulao and paired it with Raitha. With lots of cleaning work for the weekend I just made a one pot meal. 

Ingredients:

Onion- 2
Tomato-2
Coriander leaves- few
Green chillies- 2
Ginger garlic paste- 2 tbsp
Carrot- 2
Beans- 10
Rice- 2 cups
Chilli powder- 1 tbsp
Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
Curry Masala Powder- 2 tbsp
Salt- as per taste
Oil+ghee- 5 tbsp

  • Chop onion, tomato, carrot, beans. 
  • Slit green chillies and wash rice. 
  • Now heat a cooker pan add oil+ ghee. 
  • Add onion, green chillies and ginger garlic paste. 
  • Fry well. Add tomato and salt and fry well. 
  • Now add carrot beans and masala poweder, chilli powder and coriander powder and mix well. 
  • Add 4 cups of water and 2 cups of rice and mix well.  
  • Close the cooker and let steam come out well. Place the weight and simmer for 15 mins and swich off the flame. 
  • Let cooker cool down, open the lid and stir well. 
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and carrot slices. Serve hot with raitha.
