Tossed Potato Fry

Yesterday in Coconut rice recipe there was a potato fry, this is the recipe of that potato fry. Ususally I make this Potato Fry at least twice in a week. Sometimes for Variety Rice otherwise for hot rice and Rasam. What do you like to pair it with?



Ingredients:

Potato- 4
Mustard- 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric- 1/4tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil- 1 tbsp

Method:



  • Peel and cut potatoes into cubes.
  • Heat a kadai with oil and in simmer flame fry mustard chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Add Potatoes and stir well. 
  • Cover the kadai with a lid and stir occasionally every 2 min till potatoes are cooked and crisp.
  • Serve hot with variety rice or pulao.
