I love soy and the vegetable biriyani with soy is my all time favorite. It really gives a feel of Mutton to me. 

Ingredients:

Grind together:
Ginger- 1 inch
Garlic- 5 pods
Green Chillies- 5
Clove-4
Cinnamon-2,
Cardamom-2
Fennel- 1 tbsp
Khus Khus- 1 tsp

Other ingredients:
Onion- 2
Tomato-2
Biriyani Leaf- 2
Biriyani masala- 1 tbsp
Salt as required
Rice- 2 cups
Water- 4 cups
Carrot and beans- 1 cup
Mini soya- 2 cups
Oil- 5 tbsp

Method:

  • Grind the ingredients mentioned under grind together to a smooth paste. 
  • Slice onions, chop tomatoes, carrot beans. 
  • Soak soy in hot water for 15 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a cooker fry onion, biriyani leaf, add ground masala, tomato and carrot beans and fry well. 
  • Add salt biriyani masala soya and stri them well. Now add water, rice and close the cooker and cook for 3 whistles. 
  • Switch off the flame.
  • Let the pressure come down open and stir gently. Serve hot with Raita.
