Sauteed Soy

I love Soy Chunks and making a Poriyal with it I will have it white rice. I do not need any side dish or gravy. I make this often and just super like it. 
Ingredients:

Soy chunks- 2 cups
Onion- 3
Green Chilies -3
Curry Leaves- few
Oil- 3 tbsp
Pepper- 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Salt as required

Method:

  • Wash soy chunks in tap water and soak them in salted hot water for 15 minutes. 
  • Remove soy chunks from water and squeeze them well. 
  • Chop onions finely, cut green chilies.
  • Take a kadai and heat it add oil. 
  • To the well heated oil ad green chilies, ginger garlic paste and fry well. 
  • Add onions and green chilies and fry well. Here add little salt (note: soy chunks will already have salt). 
  • Now add soy chunks and toss them well till they change color to crispy brown in slow flame.
  •  Then add pepper and mix well. 
  • Switch off the flame and serve hot with curd rice or Bisibellebath.
  • You can add some capsicum to the above recipe.
