I am here with a family favorite recipe.. Yes this is my family's favorite recipe.. This dish is made as a snack sometimes or just a companion for rasam and rice.. Its just yummy which is had with chapati sometimes.

This recipe is so simple with just 5 ingredients.


Ingredients:

Hard boiled eggs- 2
Garlic- 20 (Garlic minimum 5 pods for one egg. You can add more)
Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Salt- As per taste
Oil- 2 tbsp

Method:

  • Boil eggs and deshell it.
  • Cut garlic into slices.
  • In a cup dilute salt and chilli powder with some water.
  • Take a tawa and heat oil.
  • Place garlic on the tawa.
  • Place halved eggs on top of it.
  • Pour part of diluted salt and chilli powder and roast egg.
  • Turn eggs around and add the remaining diluted salt and water.
  • Let the egg get crisp and roasted  for some time.
  • Remove from tawa and serve hot with rasam rice or chapati.
  • TIP: Do not char the garlic, use slow flame.

Points to be noted:
  • The main taste of theis dish is the roasted garlic, hence try not to charr it. Use slow flame to cook.
  • The crispier the egg is the tasty the dish will be, be patient for egg to get roasted on all sides.
