Potato Masala for Poori
Poori Masal is a favorite dish of many South Indians, even kids love them so much. Though it is filled with calories, its a heavenly combo. The taste is yumm especially when it is home made. Sunday Breakfast is usually the Potato Masala and Poori.


Large potaoes – 4
Tomato- 3
Onion- 1
Green chilli- 2
Bengal gram- 2 tbsp
Mustard- 1 tsp
Curry leaves- Few
Split black gram-2 tsp


Potato Masala for Poori

In a pressure cooker, add peeled and chopped potato, onion thin sliced, tomato, green chilly, water, turmeric powder and salt and pressure cook for 5 whistles. After the cooker cools down open and keep aside. Take a kadai and add some oil, when oil is heated add mustard, curry leave, split urad dhall and fry well. Season masala and serve hot whith poori.
